What is Aqeeq Stone

These are available in several colours: white, milky white, yellow, green, black, red, grey, liver colour and many others. The best are the liver colour from Yemen, which are difficult to obtain and expensive. It has great religious significance and for a Shia it is a must.

A Hadith from Janabe Salman F. r.a. states that “the last Prophet requested Imam Ali to wear a ring on the right so that he may be listed among the Muqarrabeen (those near to Allah). The Imam asked the Prophet as to who the Muqarrabeen were, to which the Prophet replied Janabe Jibreel and Janabe Mikaiel. Then the Imam inquired as to which stone should he wear. The Prophet replied Aqiq (cornelian), as this red stone had accepted the Oneness of Allah, the Prophethood of the last Prophet, and the vicegerency of Ali ibne Abi Talib, and the heavens for Ali’s friends and Shias”.

It is Sunnate Muakkedah (highly commendable) for men and women to wear ring rings on the right hand.

Imam Ali (as) has said: Wear aqeeq on your rings, you will be blessed and will be saved from afflictions.

Ma`adh has narrated on the authority of Imam Ali (as) saying: The one who wears an aqeeq ring, God grants him (literally: seals for him) the peace (al-amn) and faith.

The 5th Imam(IMAM MUSA KAZIM A.S.) stated that if a person possesses a ring set in Aqiq and turns it towards his palm and then looks at it, and recites Sura Qadr (Chapter 97), then Allah keeps him protected the whole day, from trouble whereever they are descended from heaven or earth and, he will be protected until the evening by Allah, and Allah’s friend who will guide him.

The 6th Imam had stated that the last Prophet Settled to wear his ring on the first finger and has prohibited wearing of a ring on the middle finger. Also according to the 6th Imam, a ring should be worn at the very end of the finger, where it joins with the palm.

Hazrat Imam Jaffer as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that a namaz with Aqeeq is 40 times better than one without it. It is also great thawaab to use tasbeeh of aqeeq as said by Hazrat Imam Musa e Kazim (a.s.)

Another tradition states that praying two rakats Namaz (prayers) while wearing an Aqiq ring is better than praying a thousand(1000) rakats without it.

The 6th Imam stated that Aqiq brings safety while traveling.

One should recite the following Dua, while wearing a ring. ‘O Allah, let the signs of faith be the cause of my recognition. Let my end be worthwhile and let there be good for me even in the world to come. It is well-known that Thou are All Mighty, All Wise and All Generous.

It is Sunnat to have a silver ring. Of course, gold is haraam for men. Wearing iron, steel or brass ring is Makrooh for both men and women. Therefore, according to the 6th Imam, the Prophet wore a silver ring. According to another tradition, the Prophet asked men not to wear an iron ring while praying and strictly prohibited the wearing of brass ring.

The 8th Imam was once asked why the 1st Imam wore his ring on the right hand. The Imam replies that “Imam Ali as. is the leader of the Ashabe Yameen, and the Ashabe Yameen are those records of actions will be given on the right hand. And secondly, the last Prophet also wore his rings on his right hand”.

The Shias will identified by these symbols, having the ring on the right hand, praying 5 times a day at the right timings, giving Zakat, distributing among his religious brothers his belongings, ordering good actions and keeping people away from evil.

The 9th Imam(IMAM MUHAMMAD TAQI A.S.) stated that “Aqiq takes away the poverty and dissolves differences in one’s heart”.

From a tradition from Bashir Dahhan . . . if a musalman wears a ring of even one of the three aqias, he will derive its benefits, his sustencance (rizq) will be increased, and he will be protected from dangers, disasters, misfortunes and accidents. It will also be a protection for him in frightening and terrifying cirumstances, like facing the oppression of a tyrant.

The benefit of Aqeeq is that it creates joy in the heart, is good for eyesight and it helps illuminate sadness and anger. It is also revered in other religious and has been in use from the time of Hazrat Adam (a.s.). It absorbs the rays of the sun and passes these onto the body and is good for health. Black Aqeeq protects children from envious eyes.

ماهو حجر العقيق ؟

يتواجد بعدة ألوان: أبيض , أبيض حليبي,أصفر , أخضر,أسود ,أحمر,رمادي , خمري, غيره. الأفضل الخمري من اليمن وهو نادر الحصول عليه وغالي. له خاصية دينية عالية وعند الشيعة هو واجب.

حديث سلمان رضي الله عنه قال: أخر المرسلين طلب من الإمام علي إرتداء الخاتم بيمينه ليكون من المقربين من الله.سأله من المقربين قال : جبريل وميكائيل. واستفسر الإمام واي حجر عليه أن يلبس. جاوبه النبي: العقيق, هذا الحجر الأحمر يؤمن بالله والاخر الأنبياء وعلي بن ابي طالب والجنة وعلي وشيعته.

إنها سنة مؤكدة للرجال والنساء أن يلبسوا خاتم باليد اليمنى.

الإمام علي قال : إلبس العقيق  وسوف تبارك وتحفظ من المصائب.

عن الإمام علي أنه قال: من يلبس العقيق يقيه الله ويؤمنه.

الإمام الخامس ( إمام موسى كاظم ) قال: من امتلك خاتم عقيق و أداره نحو كفه ونظر اليه وقرأ سورة القدر فالله سوف يحميه طول  من النهار من المتاعب من السماء والأرض.

الإمام السادس قال: أن أخر الأنبياء إعتاد لبس خاتمه بأول أصبع وحرم لبسه بالإصبع الوسطى وحسب الإمام الخاتم يجب لبسه حتى أخر الإصبع ليتصل بالكف.

الإمام جعفر الصديق قال: الصلاة أفضل اربعين مرة مع العقيق من غيره.ومن الثواب التسبيح بالعقيق كما قال الإمام موسى كاظم.

بعض مأثورات تقول أن صلاة ركعتين مع لبس العقيق افضل من صلاة ألف ركعه من غيرها.

الأمام السادس قال: العقيق يجلب الأمان عند السفر.

يجب قراءة الدعاء التالي مع إرتداء الخاتم , “الهي دع علامات العقيدة تكون سبب بإدراكي , وأخرتي ذو شأن وأجعل لي في أخرتي ماهو جيد أنت الكريم الحكيم عز وجل.

من السنة أرتداء خاتم فضة, طبعا الذهب إرتدائه حرام للرجال. لبس الحديد أو النحاس مكروه للرجالو النساء. لذلك تبعا للإمام السادس النبي لبس خاتم فضة , وفي بعض المأثورات النبي طلب من الرجال عدم إرتداء الحديد خلال الصلاة وحصر عدم إرتداء خاتم نحاس.

الإمام الثامن سئل : لماذا لبس الإمام الأول الخاتم بيمينه.أجاب :الإمام علي قائد الأصحاب اليمين (من هم سوف يحملون سجلهم بيمينهم) ولأن أخر الأنبياء أيضا إرتداه بيمينه.

الشيعة سوف يعرفون من خلال هذه العلامات,لبس الخاتم باليمين, صلاة خمس صلوات يوميا في موعدها, الزكاة, تفضيل ما تحب لإخوانهم المسلمين و ابعادهم عن الشر.

الأمام التاسع (محمد تقي) قال: العقيق يبعد الفقر ويحل مشاكل القلب.

من معتقدات بشير دهان أن المسلم إذا لبس خاتم العقيق سوف يستمد فائدته,رزقه سوف يزداد وسوف يحمى من الخطر ,المخاطر, سوء الحظ والحوادث. ويحميه في الأوقات العصيبة و ملاقاة الطاغية.

مزايا العقيق أنه يجلب الفرح للقلب, جيد للبصر ويساعد على التخلص من الحزن والغضب.إنه مبجل في بعض الديانات حتى أنه مستخدم من عهد سيدنا أدم. يمتص أشعة الشمص ويعكسها على الجسد فهي صحية . العقيق الأسود يحمي الأطفال من العين الحسود.

Seal of Prophet Muhammad (خاتم النبيين / Khatam an-Nabiyyin)

The Seal of the Prophet Muhammad refers to both a symbolic and physical designation that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger of God.

In the Qur’an (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:40), it states:

“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam an-Nabiyyin).”

The title “Khatam an-Nabiyyin” literally means “seal (or finality) of the prophets,” affirming that no prophet will come after him.
Hadith literature also mentions a physical mark between the Prophet’s shoulders, referred to as a seal-like sign, interpreted as a symbol of his unique prophetic status.

Artistically, this seal—often with the phrase “Muhammad Rasul Allah” (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)—has been used in rings, calligraphy, and Islamic artifacts, especially during the Ottoman period. It signifies the completion of divine revelation through Muhammad.
