Who is Hurrem Sultan (Sultana Huyam)?
Hürrem Sultan ( c. 1500 – 18 April 1558) Alexandra Lisowska or Anastasia was the legal wife and haseki sultan of Suleiman the Magnificent and the mother of Şehzade Mehmed, Mihrimah Sultan, Şehzade Abdullah, Sultan Selim II, Şehzade Bayezid and Şehzade Cihangir of the Ottoman Empire. She was one of the most powerful women in Ottoman history and a prominent figure during the era known as the Sultanate of Women. She achieved power and influenced the politics of the Ottoman Empire through her husband and played an active role in state affairs of the Empire.

What is Harem Al Sultan? حريم السلطان
Harem Al Sultan (حريم السلطان The Magnificent Century) is a prime time historical Turkish soap operatelevision series. It is based on the life of Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hürrem Sultan, a slave girl who became Sultana. A Nielsen Media Research market study found out that it is the most watched TV show in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013 and the fourth most successful show in Serbia. The show is part of an ongoing revival of Turkish culture in the Balkans through imported TV shows from Turkey.
In Pakistan, the show is called Mera Sultan (meaning “My Emperor”) airing on Geo Kahani. Geo Kahani claims that it is the channel’s most popular and continues to receive highest ratings.

هوريم السلطان (1500- 18 نيسان 1558 ) اليكساندرا ليزوسكا أو أنيستيسيا كانت الزوجة الشرعية للسلطان سليمان العظيم و والدة شاهزاده محمد ,سلطانة مريمة, شاهزاده عبدالله ,سلطان سليم الثاني ,شاهزاده بيازيد و شاهزاده جيهانجير من الإمبراطورية العثمانية. كانت من أكثر النساء سلطة في تاريخ العثمانيين وشخصية بارزة خلال العهد حيث عرفت بسلطانة النساء.حققت القوة والتأثير السياسي في الإمبراطورية العثمانية من خلال زوجها ولعبت دور هام في شؤون الإمبراطورية.

In all I am satisfied. My Hurrem ring has flaws all over in the metal working along the sides of the ring, but while on my finger the lovely large gemstone shines captivatingly. Hardly notice the flaws while on the finger. In all I would probably still buy the ring despite the little possible casting issues in the metal parts of the ring. Who knows, the authentic old jewelry probably had similar issues….
