Surah Al-Nas - Surah Al-Falaq (سورة الفلق و سورة الناس)
Surah Al-Falaq (113) and Surah Al-Nas (114) are the last two chapters of the Qur’an, collectively known as “Al-Mu’awwidhatayn” – the two surahs of seeking refuge.
These chapters were revealed to protect the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a period when he suffered from black magic and spiritual harm.
Surah Al-Falaq: A supplication against external harm, such as envy, darkness, magic, and malice.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak...”
Surah Al-Nas: A supplication against internal and spiritual harm, especially whispers of Satan.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind...”
They are recited regularly by Muslims:
3 times in the morning and evening
Before sleep
For protection from evil, anxiety, and unseen harm
These chapters are considered spiritual shields in daily life.
